Product Description
Our own professional powder adhesive for fibrous plaster cornice, coving, ceiling roses and mouldings — the same adhesive we fix with every day.
Part of the PMD Craft Series: materials from our own workshop, chosen and specified by working fibrous plasterers, not repackaged builders' merchant stock.
Mix and apply: add powder slowly to clean water until the water soaks up most of the powder, then mix thoroughly to a creamy consistency — a little looser than tile adhesive. Trowel evenly onto the back of the casts and press home firmly. Near contact bond on fresh plaster, with a generous two-hour working time in the bowl.
Craftsman's tips: mix a full bowl — two hours' working time; key painted surfaces with a knife first; remove excess immediately — it sets very hard.
And when the plaster's used — the tub earns its keep. A stout resealable bucket is never wasted in a workshop: mixing, soaking, storage. Ours seem to live for years.
