A classic fleur-de-lis, hand cast in fine plaster of Paris from our traditional pattern.
The emblem of French royalty and one of the most enduring motifs in decorative history, the fleur-de-lis has adorned interiors from medieval halls to Victorian townhouses. Ours is crisply modelled with a leafed centre petal, scrolled side petals, and the traditional banded girdle — with genuine depth and undercut that machine-made versions can't match.
A wonderfully versatile ornament: use singly as an accent above a door or fireplace, in repeat as a frieze or running wall motif, applied to panelling or furniture, or grouped to dress a hallway or stairwell. Light enough to fix with adhesive alone.
Hand cast to order in our Berkshire workshop using traditional fibrous plaster techniques. Supplied ready to decorate — takes any emulsion, or gilds beautifully for a period look.
