An elegant long-leaf console corbel, hand cast from our traditional pattern.
A single sweep of overlapping acanthus leaves runs the full length of the console, rising from a moulded shell base to a scrolled head — the classical leaf-clad console found flanking doorcases, dressing chimney breasts and carrying entablatures in good Victorian and Edwardian houses. The tapering profile makes it ideal where you want height and presence without deep projection.
Use in pairs flanking a doorway, arch or fire opening, in runs beneath a beam or deep cornice, or singly wherever a vertical accent is wanted.
Hand cast to order in our Berkshire workshop using traditional fibrous plaster techniques. Supplied ready to decorate.
