Product Description
A singular decorative statement — a hand-cast mascaron in the form of an eighteenth-century lady, her hair elaborately dressed and crowned with a ribbon bow. A graceful, characterful face in the French decorative manner, with genuine period pedigree. This piece is taken from an original mould created during a heritage restoration at Prince of Wales Terrace, Kensington — real period ornament, offered now as a decorative cast for the discerning interior. A favourite of interior designers as a standalone feature: set over a doorway, above a fireplace, on a panelled wall, or in a garden or courtyard when cast for exterior use. At 300 x 200mm she has genuine presence — a considered choice rather than a shelf-filler. Choose your finish: • Natural Plaster — paintable, for interiors • Stone — a soft stone-look finish • Weathered / Antiqued Stone — hand-aged for a mellow, settled patina • Charcoal Jesmonite — weatherproof and frost-resistant, for exterior use Measures: 300 x 200mm Material: Hand-cast — plaster or Jesmonite depending on finish Made and finished by hand in our own workshop.
